All these blessings will come upon you
Blessed are those who wash their robes
But the needy will not always be forgotten
Delight yourself in the Lord
Don't be afraid
Fear the LORD, you his saints
For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe
God blesses the righteous
God does not reject a blameless man
God will heal your land
God with you to fight for you
He guides the humble in what is right
He will love you and bless you
I am the LORD, who heals you
I have never seen the righteous forsaken
I will send rain on your land
In famine he will ransom you from death
Live and prosper
Many will court your favor
My Presence will go with you
New Year Promise
Prosper in everything you do
Surely goodness and love will follow me
The Eternal God is your refuge
The eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth
The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer
The LORD will grant victory
The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity
The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them
Those who know your name will trust in you
Those who suffer he delivers in their suffering
Wait for the Lord
Whatever you do you will prosper
Worship the LORD your God
You have filled my heart with greater joy
You will be prosperous and successful
You will be protected from the lash of the tongue
You will be restored
You will be secure
You will come to the grave in full vigor
You will live and increase
You, O LORD, keep my lamp burning
Your work will be rewarded
He guides the humble in what is right

He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. (Psalm 25:9)

Wouldn't it be a blessed life if God Himself guided us each day? Well, that's exactly what He wants to do, but sadly many Christians either are ignorant of it or think of it as a trivial matter. They think of God as someone far away, perhaps with an imagination of a monarch who has his own ways without caring for what anyone else thinks. But God the Father is totally different. He is "love personified". That's why He sent Jesus to earth to die for us. He could have sacrificed millions of angels but He knew that only His son could be the perfect sacrifice for mankind.

Jesus taught His disciples the basics of His kingdom and when it was time for Him to depart bodily from earth where He had lived for 33 ½ years, He gave a wonderful promise to His children i.e. the coming of the Counselor, Holy Spirit.

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever, the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. (John 14:16, 17)

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. (John 14:26)

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you. (John 16:13-15)

It is the Holy Spirit who has been entrusted the job of leading us and guiding us each day of our lives right up to eternity. We have a guide, but what if we do not ask Him to show us the way. That's where many Christians miss the bus. Do we really understand the term "fellowship of the Holy Spirit"? Of course it is said 100's of times each day in every church where the benediction is pronounced. Sadly, very few really take it as the truth. Fellowship, according to Merriam Webster Dictionary, means a company of equals or friends / the quality or state of being comradely. If that's the case then we ought to talk more with our Counselor, the Holy Spirit because He can surely & effectively guide us in what is right and teach us God's ways.

If we carefully read the scripture passage John 16:13-15 (given above), Jesus is saying that the Holy Spirit will tell us things about our future, he will reveal things that are a mystery, things that only God knows.

Be assured this day, you have a guide to lead you all through this life that you are living on earth. God the Father has given us the Holy Spirit for this purpose and it is our prerogative to ask for directions from this Counselor. Surely He will guide you in what is right and teach you God's ways.
