He will love you and bless you He will love you and bless you and increase your numbers. He will bless the fruit of your womb, the crops of your land, your grain, new wine and oil, the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks in the land that he swore to your forefathers to give you. (Deuteronomy 7:13) So many promises and blessings in a single verse. It's the sign of the great love that God has for you. An everlasting love. He's your Creator and He loves you. Let that thought sink deep into your heart and mind. Just imagine yourself standing in front of your Creator and he says to you, "Look here's a big box of blessings. Take what you want" and you are so overwhelmed. The big box is full of blessings. You want them all. But then you look at your hands. How much can you pick up and hold in those hands. So what is to be done? Finally you get an idea. You say, "Father, my hands are too small to pick all that I desire, so you with your mighty hands fill my life with all these." Remember, you have a Creator so big that His presence fills the heavens and the earth. The sing writer songs, "There shall be showers of blessings; this is the promise of love. There shall be seasons refreshing, sent from the Savior above". A God who loves, a God who blesses, a God who gives increase, a God who blesses the fruit of your womb, a God who blesses your crops and all that you have. In Genesis 24: 1 we read, "Abraham was now old and well advanced in years and the Lord had blessed him in every way." So be it in your life too. May God bless you. |
