Worship the LORD your God Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you.( Exodus 23:25) As the Israelites traveled through the wilderness for 40 years, God revived their spirits by granting them great conditional blessings. He had delivered them from Pharaoh of Egypt to worship Him. Now He reminded them that "Worship" was what He desired. Worship is very much related with love. What you love most that is what you usually worship. Everything else that you love more than God becomes an idol in our life. And God hates idol worship. If you worship God in Spirit and in truth and that is how He desires it; He says His blessing will be on your food and water. Have you been eating and drinking and still feeling unsatisfied all along. Check your worship life. Worship is a personal matter; a matter of the heart; a relationship that needs to be nurtured. The "Worship" which Jesus is delighted in is one, which comes from a pure heart. He loves the worship that comes from such a person and His blessing rests on their food and water. Not only that, He also promises to take away sicknesses that torment them. Is your worship one in which God delights in? If not, take a new decision this day. And may Jesus richly bless your food and water and remove every sickness that torments you this day. |
