All these blessings will come upon you
Blessed are those who wash their robes

Fear the LORD, you his saints
For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe
God blesses the righteous
God does not reject a blameless man
God will heal your land
God with you to fight for you
He guides the humble in what is right
He will love you and bless you
I am the LORD, who heals you
I have never seen the righteous forsaken
I will send rain on your land
In famine he will ransom you from death
Live and prosper
Many will court your favor
My Presence will go with you
New Year Promise
Prosper in everything you do
Surely goodness and love will follow me
The Eternal God is your refuge
The eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth
The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer
The LORD will grant victory
The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity
The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them
Those who know your name will trust in you
Those who suffer he delivers in their suffering
Wait for the Lord
Whatever you do you will prosper
Worship the LORD your God
You have filled my heart with greater joy
You will be prosperous and successful
You will be protected from the lash of the tongue
You will be restored
You will be secure
You will come to the grave in full vigor
You will live and increase
You, O LORD, keep my lamp burning
Your work will be rewarded
You have filled my heart with greater joy

You have filled my heart with greater joy than when their grain and new wine abound. (Psalm 4:7)

David, here is testifying to an inner "joy" that the Lord gave him because he lived close to the Lord. It's not only the joy that he experienced during times of peace but also the joy that he had because of spiritual contentment. He says it's a 'greater' joy. A joy greater than what one has because of material gain.

David had experienced both riches and poverty in his life. As a shepherd he lived a simple life but when he reached the palace his life became complex. For a while he enjoyed the status as the king's son-in-law, but later he had to flee from the palace and then live in the most obscure of places- caves, wilderness and even in the Philistine camp. But he learned a great truth and that's what he writes here. True joy can be found when one lives close to the Lord.

Material things do bring joy, but there is a 'greater joy' which can be found in one's close fellowship with the Lord. More joy than when grain and new wine abound.
