Don't be afraid

Don't be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.( 2 King 6:16)

Are your spiritual eyes open? Sadly many who call themselves Christians have never opened their spiritual eyes to see God’s Glorious grace and provision in their lives. Gehazi, the servant of Elijah later became Elisha’s servant, but in spite of walking and living with 2 great prophets never had his spiritual eyes open to see God’s splendor as his masters were able to. The Syrian army had encircled the city of Dothan to capture the prophet Elisha. When his servant Gehazi woke up in the morning and looked out, he saw the great Syrian army surrounding them. Quickly he went to his master and told him the facts and then asked him “Oh my Lord, what shall we do?’

Don’t be afraid, Elisha said, “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

And Elisha prayed, "O LORD, open his eyes so he may see." Then the LORD opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. Dear friend, are you always seeing your enemies doing witchcraft, sorcery and against you? Open you spiritual eyes and see a God who has power over all the wickedness of the enemy. Trust in Jesus who has been given all authority in heaven and on earth. His army of angels will protect you continually. Do not fear. Those who are with you are more than those who are with the enemy.
