Many will
court your favor
You
will lie down, with no one to make you afraid, and many will court your favor.
(Job 11: 19 )
Many live in
utter fear and when they lie down they hardly sleep at night because of their
fears.
The Bible says,
“You will lie down with no one to make you afraid." It’s a verse, which
speaks of great trust in the Lord. Many
people intimidate us and some or the other fear grips our heart regarding them.
We are afraid that they may hurt us with their words and actions. Fearful
thoughts control our mind and ruin our peace.
What we can do
is, we can place all our enemies into the hands of God in prayer, telling him
that we are not powerful to stop them but that He is and that He should take
care of us at all times. Again this verse says, “Many will court your
favor." It’s true. Even your enemies may come and tell you that they
realize that God is with you.
We read in the
book of Genesis that God blessed Isaac so much that his enemies were jealous of
his prosperity. They came and told him that they had come to a realization that
God was with him. They made a peace treaty with him fearing that Isaac may
destroy them with the power that he started wielding. “Many will court your
favor “because they will realize that Jesus is with you and He is blessing you.
